In her education career, she obtained LL-B (Honours) and LL-M degrees from Rajshahi University. Her native district is Rangpur. Earlier, she was working as Member Administrative Appellate Tribunal in Dhaka District. During her working life she received training in India, Australia and Maldives in India and abroad. She has traveled to Singapore and Thailand.
